Threat Alerts

Identity fraud takes many forms, from phishing emails to phone scams — and the faster this crime mutates, the more important your vigilance becomes. Never click on a link in an email claiming to come from a financial institution or business, and never provide identity or account data in response. Never provide identity or account data by phone, either, unless you have an existing relationship with the business or agency AND you initiated the call using a verified phone number. If you have replied to such a scam — especially if you've provided identity or account information — notify the appropriate businesses or institutions immediately.
